More Campus Shootings? More Cho’s Out There?

While we’re still mourning the victims Monday’s massacre of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, in which gunman Cho Seung-Hui killed 32 people and himself, more US college and high school campuses receive threats. Among them, as quoted from Canada.com, are:

_ Ross Abdallah Alameddine, 20, sophomore from Saugus, Massachusetts.
_ Christopher James Bishop, 35, foreign-languages instructor who joined the Virginia Tech faculty in August 2005.
_ Brian Roy Bluhm, 25, civil engineering graduate student from Stephens City, Virginia. He had previously lived in Iowa, Detroit and Louisville, Kentucky.
_ Ryan Christopher Clark, 22, of Martinez, Georgia, senior majoring in psychology.
_ Austin Michelle Cloyd, 18, sophomore international studies major and member of the honors program from Blacksburg, Virginia. Cloyd and her family previously lived in Champaign, Illinois.
_ Jocelyne Couture-Nowak, adjunct foreign languages instructor who lived in Blacksburg and joined the faculty in August 2001.
_ Daniel Alejandro Perez Cueva, 21, of Peru, sophomore majoring in international studies. He also had lived in Woodbridge, Virginia.
_ Kevin P. Granata, 45, engineering science and mechanics professor who joined the Virginia Tech faculty in January 2003 and lived in Blacksburg.
_ Matthew Gregory Gwaltney, 24, of Chester, Virginia, graduate student in civil and environmental engineering.
_ Caitlin Millar Hammaren, 19, sophomore majoring in international studies from Westtown, New York.
_ Jeremy Michael Herbstritt, 27, civil engineering graduate student from Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.
_ Rachael Elizabeth Hill, 18, freshman from Glen Allen, Virginia.
_ Emily Jane Hilscher, 19, freshman from Woodville, Virginia, majoring in animal and poultry sciences.
_ Jarrett Lee Lane, 22, senior majoring in civil engineering from Narrows, Virginia.
_ Matthew Joseph La Porte, 20, sophomore from Dumont, New Jersey.
_ Henry J. Lee, also known as Henh Ly, 20, first-year student majoring in computer engineering from Roanoke, Virginia. He had enough advanced-placement credits to be considered a sophomore by Virginia Tech.
_ Liviu Librescu, 76, engineering science and mechanics professor who joined the faculty in 1985. Originally from Romania and had also lived in Israel.
_ G.V. Loganathan, 51, civil and environmental engineering professor who joined the faculty in 1981.
_ Partahi Mamora Halomoan Lumbantoruan, 34, of Indonesia, civil engineering doctoral student.
_ Lauren Ashley McCain, 20, of Hampton, Virginia, freshman international studies major.
_ Daniel Patrick O’Neil, 22, of Lincoln, Rhode Island, first-year graduate student in environmental engineering.
_ Juan Ramon Ortiz, 26, graduate student in civil engineering from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

_ Michael Steven Pohle Jr., 23, of Flemington, New Jersey, senior majoring in biology.
_ Julia Kathleen Pryde, 23, graduate student in biological systems engineering from Middletown, New Jersey.
_ Mary Karen Read, 19, freshman from Annandale, Virginia.
_ Reema Joseph Samaha, 18, freshman from Centreville, Virginia.
_ Waleed Mohammed Shaalan, 32, of Zagazig, Egypt, doctoral student in civil engineering.
_ Leslie Geraldine Sherman, sophomore history major and member of the honors program from Springfield, Virginia.
_ Maxine Shelly Turner, 22, senior majoring in chemical engineering and member of the honors program from Vienna, Virginia.
_ Nicole White, 20, international studies major from Smithfield, Virginia. She started at Virginia Tech in fall 2004 but was listed by the school as a sophomore.
