Bulls Beat Heat…Again
The defending NBA champion Miami Heat are on the brink of elimination from this year’s playoffs. Although they still have a chance to get back on track, if they do not put their mind to it right away they are going to miss out on the chance at a possible repeat.
The Chicago Bulls beat the Heat 107-89 in game two of the first round. The Bulls hold a 2-0 lead in the series after taking both games at home. But if they are to sweep the Heat right out of the postseason, they are going to have to travel to Miami in order to do so.
If the Heat are going to get back into the series they need to win game three in South Beach on Friday. And for this to happen, Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal are going to have to step up their intensity. In game two, Wade looked a bit better but still struggled with staying consistent from start to finish. He ended the game 9 of 19 from the floor with 21 points. O’Neal managed to score 17 points and grab 8 rebounds, but simply put, this is not going to be good enough in order to get past a very determined Bulls team.
It will be interesting to see what head coach Pat Riley comes up with for game three. It is safe to say that if the Heat rely on the same strategy as the first two games that the end result will be the same as well.
