Getting Help for LeBron
Ever since the Cavaliers were dominated by the Spurs in the NBA Finals, people have been talking about the changes that the team needs to make. Mainly, how is the Cavs front office going to get help for LeBron James? He may be one of the best players in the NBA, but without help, the team is never going to win an NBA title.
The rumors have been circulating about who the Cavs will try to secure this off season. While they may be able to pick up some help in the annual NBA draft, a more experienced player is what the team really needs. Shawn Marion of the Phoenix Suns is one name that has surfaced time and time again. Although it is hard to believe that he would want out of Phoenix, the money may be better across the country. Not to mention the fact that he would have the chance to team up with James.
Jason Richardson of the Golden State Warriors, Zach Randolph of the Portland Trailblazers, and Rashard Lewis of the Seattle Supersonics are also viable options. When it comes down to it, the Cavs are going to have to make a decision on which player is best to pursue. From there, a bidding war will surely follow. After all, they are not the only team that would love to add one of these players.
All in all, if James can get some help, the Cavs will have a good chance at another Eastern Conference championship in 2008. And this time around, they will have a much better chance of winning the whole thing!
