The OZZFEST, Circus Diablo and my main man… Billy Morrison

August 10, 2007

This years Ozzfest has come and gone and made history. When I say history, I am not only talking about pure adrenaline and fan loyalty as making this one particularly spectacular…

But it was a “free festival—nobody paid,” said Billy Morrison of Circus Diablo and Camp Freddy. Tens of thousands of kids are able to see the likes of Static X, Behemoth, The Showdown, Hatebreed and Devil Driver just to name a few.

“Great Times,” says Billy who has recently returned only to set right to work editing their newest video, “Loaded” off the new album. But no worries mates if you missed their show at Ozzfest, Circus Diablo should be back out on tour soon.

But wait you say…

The Ozzfest isn’t over yet!

Right you are, but it is for Circus Diablo by reason of heavy pregnancy of two of the bands members. But “family comes first…” says Billy and I think we can all understand that.

You could have still caught Billy at the “House of ‘Anything But’ Blues,” as Billy calls it. They were at the X-Games/ESPN Party, which they have become a staple of for the past three years in a row.

Okay, so with a “private, invite only” guest list, maybe you couldn’t have got in… but you could have waited outside the door to throw your underwear at them… clean underwear please, the band requests!

What else is new with Billy?

Well, he has also become an actor as of recently. He told me this September he is shooting a film, “Basement Jack,” where he plays a detective. Prior to this he’s been in the slasher film, “Evilution Zombie” and the comedy, “Tripping Forward”.

Good luck with your acting career Billy, we here at Burnzpost wish you all the best!
