Countdown to College Football Kickoff
August 22, 2007
Next Thursday, August 30th, the 2007 college football season will get underway. While there are no headline games being played on this night, it does not seem to matter to the millions of fans who have been waiting all year for this time.
Here are three things to keep in mind as opening day closes in.
1. Make sure your cable package will allow you to get as many games as possible. While you probably get the major channels like ESPN, you may want to look into some others as well. Can anybody else say satellite dish?
2. Even if your favorite team is not playing next Thursday, there is a good chance that a future opponent may be. There is nothing like getting in some early scouting!
3. Listen to what the announcers are saying; they are full of information. But with that being said, they are not always right. If you want to learn, these guys can teach you. But as far as predictions are concerned, you have just as good a chance as them as being right.
After a long summer, college football season is only eight days away. With so many games to be played over the next four months, it is safe to say that you will always have something to do on Saturdays!
