And the Britney Spears Saga Continues…
Well, today we are hearing all kinds of “he said she said” about Britney’s performance.
What went wrong, who’s at fault???
The very latest information is telling us that Britney’s lethargic performance was due to a series of let downs to her particular appearance.
The first was that she wanted to have Chris Angel perform a few elaborate magic acts during the performance of her single, “Gimme More”, but MTV said that it was too complex and passed on it.
Secondly, Britney requested to sing live, but MTV would not allow that either. They were probably worried that she could not sing and walk at the same time. Little did they know the problem was oh, so much more serious.
The third item that drew Britney over the line was an argument that happened backstage with her hair dresser who ended up quiting and cutting Britney’s hair extensions out before storming away
So with all that, she just did not really care about the performance, until afterwards when she ran straight to her dressing room and cried.
The response to this episode has been huge and people are popping up all over the Internet with their own versions of the performance, such as this skit put together by National Lampoon.
Then we have the fan who attached a screaming a sobbing video on YouTube in the attempts to tell people to “leave Britney alone” and has only skyrocketed herself to Britney ’style’ fame by this emotional outbreak. But out of all this bad news of turmoil and suffering comes a spot of light and it comes to us in the form of an unlikely creature. Yes, we know tonight that Britney at least has one fan left!
