Week Two NFL Roundup

Week two of the 2007 NFL season was every bit as exciting as the last. In fact, there were many tight games, as well as a few that were blow outs. But as an NFL fan, it is safe to say that you had a great time in front of the television on Sunday.

The most exciting game of the day had to be the Cincinnati Bengals vs. the Cleveland Browns. In a contest with little defense, the Browns held on for a 51-45 victory. Both teams were trying to avoid an 0-2 start, but only the Browns can stake claim to this feat.

For the second week in a row the Denver Broncos won with a field goal in the final seconds. This time around the Oakland Raiders were the culprits in an overtime contest.

In other games the San Francisco 49ers defeated the St. Louis Rams 17-16; Baltimore Ravens beat the New York Jets 20-13; Chicago Bears beat the Kansas Chiefs 20-10; and the New England Patriots capsized the San Diego Chargers by a score of 38-14.

Even though Sunday is over, Monday night football is only a few hours away. The Philadelphia Eagles are taking on the Washington Redskins, which always makes for an intriguing early season match-up.

By now, it is becoming easier to see which teams are playing well and which ones have more to prove. If your team is off to a 2-0 start you should be happy. But remember, this is the NFL. Things can change on a dime!
