…And let’s round this out with a few choices from one of my favorite manufacturers of sexy… Shirley of Hollywood. Shirley’s line can be found through a number of various local and Internet stores, but the very best way to find the one closest is to use their store locator on their website.

Shirley of Hollywood has been a quality manufacturer of women’s undergarments for several decades and they have recently begun to spread their wings to include a variety of costumes.

What I really like about the Shirley line of Halloween costumes is that they are more colorful, creative and glamorous than most of the other manufacturers. Shirley has a lot of competition these days, with Hustler, Playboy, and Forplay also having a similar line of Halloween costumes… but I personally like their overall quality and selection and these are a few of my top favorites:

Their MAE-DAM WEST line is new from earlier this year and features a realistic, yet sexy flare of the old west. The length and coverage of this costume would work in both cold and warm climates, which is another reason I give it two thumbs up.

Another favorite is their “Cupid” costume. The heart shaped wings really set off the rest of the outfit and give it a unique touch. I like the fact that they didn’t go with the typical feathered wings, which can be heavy and pull on the rest of the outfit as well as make dancing and mingling through crowds a chore. This is a little more revealing, but not so much that it would be inappropriate for an adult party.

The Sexy Mad Hatter is an original idea and certainly brings a whole new flare to the original concept of this character found in “Alice in Wonderland”.

And for the guys… well, I kind of like their “Undie-Taker” costume. It’s kind of a similar flare and coolness to being a “Blues Brother”, but perhaps (dare I say it), with a little more truth in advertising. This may not be the best choice if you have a date for Halloween already, but if you are looking for one, this might make a great conversation starter!
