NFL Roundup

Week six of the 2007 NFL season was every bit as exciting as the ones before. By this time, some teams have already played themselves out of the postseason. And of course, there are others that already have six wins under their belt.

The most anticipated match-up of week six was between the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys. Even though the game was close through three quarters, as usual, the Patriots pulled away for a 48-27 victory. Simply put, Tom Brady’s offense was too good for the Cowboys defense.

In the Sunday night game, the New Orleans Saints won their first game of the season, 28-17 over the Seattle Seahawks. For a team that was thought to contend for a playoff spot, the Saints have not showed it just yet. But this win over the Seahawks may be all that they need to get back on track.

Other exciting games of the weekend included: Kansas City over Cincinnati 27-20, Philadelphia over the New York Jets 16-9, and San Diego over Oakland 28-14.

The New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons square of on Monday night. The Giant head into the game with a record of 3-2, while the Falcons are sitting at 1-4. As you can see, this is pretty much a must win game for both teams.

After six weeks of games, there have been many surprises; both for the good and bad. But in typical NFL fashion, nothing is set in stone for very long. The teams that are winning now could be losing in no time at all.
